December Events

December 2

For the month of December, we are pleased to feature the art of Annette Marcuson.

Originally Annette was a watercolorist but in 2004, began working in soft and oil pastel. At present she works in both pastels and oil painting and has continued her development by studying with local artists Christine Rooney and Ron Boehmer. Annette’s major artistic influences are Hopper, Daubigny, Renoir and Corot. She has shown her work at the Lynchburg Art Club and other art venues in the Lynchburg Area.

“In art you are the creator of the question, and ultimately, the one who has to answer it to your satisfaction. Of course you learn from others on the journey but in the end, your finished work has to answer YOUR question.”

Annette’s exhibition will be displayed at the Everyday Sommelier beginning December 2. Join us for an evening tasting from 5PM - 7PM to view her work before your evening in Downtown Lynchburg.
